What are some fun things to do at camp?

We have tons of activities that are super fun here at camp. We have a beautiful swimming pool with a diving board and water slide that will help you beat the heat. Our two zip lines let campers of all ages participate, one for older kids standing over 50 feet in the air and the other is for our younger kids that goes only 100 feet. With canoeing, basketball, gaga ball, fishing, soccer, volleyball, and so much more… You'll be sure to find something fun to do here at camp.

What does a typical day of camp look like?

Your average day at camp will be filled with things like eating meals and snacks, bible teachings, rest time, playing silly games on the ball field, and singing worship songs to God. Each camp's schedule is adjusted for the certain type of camp it is and the age range of its campers.

How can I determine which camp my child should attend?

All of our camp sessions are set up for specific grades. At camp we look at the grade that your child has just completed/finished. Therefore, if your child is currently finishing or has just finished 4th grade and will be starting 5th grade in the fall, they would attend sessions designated for 4th grade campers.

Why are cell phones not allowed? What if I need to speak with my child?

Cell phones are not allowed at camp because they can cause unnecessary problems for our camp sessions and also lead to campers leaving early due to homesickness. Also, the ability for cell phones to send pictures and have access to the internet becomes a safety concern for all campers. Campers are always allowed to use the office phone to call home if the Camp Manager and Dean (leader of the session) find it necessary.

Can my child bunk with their friend at camp?

In most camp sessions campers are allowed to choose their own bunks within a certain dorm building. Therefore, campers have the ability to bunk close to one another if desired. All bunks are first come first serve so it would better for campers to arrive early and check in with their friend to ensure they can bunk near each other.

Do staff and faculty receive background checks?

Yes, any adult that is on the property during our camp sessions must have a background check before they are allowed to work a session. All faculty and staff receive a nationwide background check as well as a national sexual offenders list check.
