We thank you for your support of the camp!

Dear Friends of the Camp,

Another great summer of Christian Camp is already in the rear view mirror as we make preparations for another one that will undoubtedly touch hundreds more. This summer there were 1358 campers, 418 faculty volunteers and 38 baptisms. It was truly a great summer and we can’t wait to see what God will do next year!

Every year the camp strives to improve its facilities and the programs we offer. This year we did just that even with the flooding issues the camp experienced during the Spring. Many told us that the camp looked great in spite of the storms and acknowledged the tremendous amount of work involved with restoring and maintaining such a great facility. Approximately $86,500 has been spent on flood damage repairs and we are happy to say this expense has been covered by the generous donations of churches and many individuals.

One of the biggest blows to the camp due to flood damage (especially with no flood insurance) was the loss of the camp manager’s house built in 1886. For over 50 years the camp has had someone living on the property year round to make sure the camp is protected and to provide services to attendees that stay on the property. The camp board of directors is now in the process of building a new manager’s house on the camp property on higher ground in hopes of having it completed in the Spring of 2026. This expense is obviously still ongoing as the house is being built and this is where the camp needs your help!

Estimated costs for the new camp manager’s house is $300,000. This will be a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with a walkout basement and attached garage. It will be a better built, more efficient home that should serve the camp for decades to come.

Here is how you can help! We need services donated as we build the house. Already donations have been given to cover the dirt work and excavation for the basement. Already help has been given to help with concrete cost and labor. Already a plumber has offered his services to keep costs low. Already a carpenter has offered his services to help finish trim work in the house and another to do additional carpentry work. We still need help with electrical work and we still need a lot of materials like flooring and cabinets.  Board member efforts have already produced nearly $48,000 directly for this project and we need your help also!

Will you help with a special gift or donation to keep the camp from debt as we deal with this large expense that we did not anticipate at the start of the year? Below is a list of needed items with approximate costs to help you and your church know how to give. Perhaps your church would like to raise funds to cover a specific area. Thank you in advance for helping the camp with this much needed project!
